Communicating effectively in relationships is so essential. Yet, most of us know only toxic ways of communicating - blaming, passing judgments and making demands - that only leads to greater conflict and disconnection.

Last weekend, I attended a workshop on non-violent communication (NVC), and was so touched by what I learned that I wanted to synthesize and share my learning.

How I lost 14kg in one year: by practicing mindfulness

In 2017, I lost 14kg (30lbs). It was a steady loss of 1-1.5kg/month, and 75% of the weight lost was fat. I’ve been as surprised as anyone else, because it didn't seem like I was doing anything big. Here's what I did do.
