After weeks of disconnection with myself, of being unwell and avoiding my feelings, I finally came home to myself at a yoga retreat at a lovely permaculture farm in Portugal.
Communicating effectively in relationships is so essential. Yet, most of us know only toxic ways of communicating - blaming, passing judgments and making demands - that only leads to greater conflict and disconnection.
Last weekend, I attended a workshop on non-violent communication (NVC), and was so touched by what I learned that I wanted to synthesize and share my learning.
